I designed this card for one of my best friends that is have her baby in January. The first thing I did was wrote down what they want to call her and I turn that vertical. I got swirly yellow and pink picture and I pasted it to my layer. I went to layer and I went to create cliping mask. I did that for both of the text. Then, I did the date she will be born and that one was moved every which way. I put a pink flower behind the date. Then, I got a baby, but I didn 't like how that baby worked out and I deleted it. So, then I guess I could work on something else until I figured out what baby I wanted to use. So, I worked on the stork, that one was placed in all the corners and I like it there best, so, I kept it. Then, I got the footprints I put two different colors on it. I painted it in the middle, all I did was move it up a little. Then, I went to google translator and I got mother and father in Japanesse. I stuck those in the corners of the picture cause I thought it would be better there than in the middle. One of the last things I did was get the baby I loved the one on the moon so, I saved it in my photos, I copy and pasted it, and moved it to the bottem of the page. Lastly, I got the fishing line and hook and I transformed it to go the way I wanted it to and I erased the hook across the moon. I made the line a little bit longer... you can see that. Other, than that I used most of them as a custom brush. I went to edit and down to define brush preset. They represent the baby, because she is having a little girl. That is why most of the thing are pink.

Choice #1
This picture was taken on November 1st, 2010. The flash was off and my camera mode was on auto. This picture was taken at Bensons in the upper stairway.
I fixed this photo up in photo shop.
I made a background copy and I took the dodge tool and brightened it.
that is all I did with it... I think that it looks really good, I like how bright it is.
I did try to crop it, but I didn't like how it took out so much of the sun. I forgot about curves and level so, I didn't try anything else.

Architecture
I was in Los Vegas when I took this picture. It was around February 2nd 2009. I know that my camera was on auto and the flash was on.
What I changed in this photo was I cropped it to take out the unneed stuff. then I clone stamp the sign from the bottem and got rid of that. I took the burn tool and lightened up the statue. Than the last thing I did was color balance. I did try a other thing like levels, but I didn't like how it looked. I think that the photo looks better because the statue is brighter and that was the one thing that I wanted to do.

Diagonal
I took this at Benson's with auto on , same with the flash. the day I took it was November 1st, 2010.
I changed this picture by going to curves and levels, I wanted to make it darker because the white was too shiney. I did try clone stamp but that made it look sloppy. So, I decided to just stay with levels and curves. Then I decided that I was going to try to change the color of the black lines, but I couldn't just get the black lines so, I just left it. It is a diagonal photo because the bottom stairs start at one corner and goes all the way up to the other. So, it brings eye in a diagonal motion. I really like it darker because that place is usually dark, but when the flash went off it brightened it so, I think it looks great.
Lines
I took this picture yesturday, November 1st 2010 at Benson's. I had my camera on auto and the flash was on.
I changed the levels to make it a darker color and I tried changing the curves, but I didn't like how it looks so I changed it back. I used the clone stamp to clean up the white and the door, but then I just ended up cropping it to put the focus on the lines more. I really like this picture I think it looks good focused in and I love the background full of color.

Landscape
SKYSCAPES
I took this picture at my sister Emily's house around 6:30 pm. It was Oct. 22nd 2010. This was on sunset mode and I don't think the flash was on. This one is sky because the sun really stands out on it while everything else is black.
They way I changed this picture was, I copied the layer and all I did was adjust the levels. I made the picture brighter. I really like how it looks, I think that the purple is a brighter color and the sun really sticks out more.
LANDSCAPES
I took this picture while I was driving. the flash was not on and I was in auto mode. I don't remember what day it was, but it was on County Road 30 by the stop sign. This one is land because it is focusing on the road more than the sky.
I changed the picture by brighting it with the dodge tool. Then I cropped it and change the color to black and white by going to saturation and making that go to -100. I took the eye off of the background and I merged the background copy and the saturation together and I put the eye on background agian. Then I went to the easer and I eased the yellow lines on the road to make it pop out! I really love the way the picture looks, I have never been so good at this stuff so I just really love it.

B&W with color
I took this picture October 23rd, 2010. My camera was on portiat with flash. I went down to her height to get a straight veiw of her face.I took it because I was in the right moment at the right time!
The way I change the photo from colored to black and white is I went on to my pallet. I went to staturation and I changed it from 0 to -100.
After the black and white I clicked the eye off my background and I right clicked the mouse. I went to merge visible and combed the background copy and the saturation. Then I went to the eraser and I started with the eyes, but they didn't really show. So, then I was going to change the color of them, but I couldn't get the color to work. Then I decided to change the ears on her puppy custome. I erased the ears and they really pop out. I didn't mess with the curves or levels becasue I really like the way the picute looks. I think that the picture is really cute with the orange ears!

photo clean up
I don't remember the exact date of this picture, but, I believe it was September 28th, 2010. I took this picture on auto, flash was on. I took the picture because me and my cousin wore the same clothing. I like it because everybody else is moving exept Kelli and I. I don't like it because John was in the back.
I took out John to make it not as cluttered. I used the clone stamp for all of it, but than it was choppy around our legs and our hair. So, I went to select went down to fine edge and I feathered it and smoothed it. To me it looks like a better picture cause it is not so crouded.

Color Replacement
I took this picture september 23rd, 2010. My camera was set on auto. I had the flash on. This was at Laporte School.
This is the color replacement photo. This photo i changed Edie's hair color, my eye color, and I used the burn tool to lighten the picture. I like the darker color of Edie's hair. I don't know if I like the color of my eyes yet. I love when I brightened it, I think it looks better!

When I took this picture I was at my school in photography class. I had my camera on auto. I decided to put my camera down to the same level as the canon. I wanted to have the camera off of the center of the picture to make the eye focus more on the camera.
This picture was the same day. It is still on auto, but this time instead of having it the same level I stood up and turned the camera. It is still off of the center of the camera. The back ground is not as busy.
