Picture worth 1000 words.

If thing that I did was I save my name under paint brush preset. I did 4 different one (syd, Sydney, squid, and sydney marie kloehn). I went to edit and I went down to paint brush preset. I brightened up the background with the levels. Then I went to select and down to color range. I clicked on shadow. Then I copied that layer (ctrl j). Then I did the same thing except I clicked on midtones. I had to use the quick select to get ride of the ceiling. Then I merged them together. After that I made a new layer and I filled it with white (ctrl backspace). Then I painted it with the brushes. I went on the side and click on the paint brushes and I messed with the sizes and other stuff until I liked it. Then I add a vector mask and I selected all (ctrl a) copied and pasted (ctrl c and v) it on the mask. Then I clicked inverse under select (ctrl I).  I put a layer between 1 and 2 so some things wouldn’t show. Then I went to FX on the bottom and I went to Gradient Overlay and I picked the rainbow color. That is everything that I did and even though it is not a great picture of me I still like the way it looks and I like how much time it took for me to get done. I will say that I did get a little help from Minkle!!

            The first thing I did was I a new page 6 by 4. Then, I did one of my favorite sports. I chose a softball field as my background. Then I got three softballs and I cut out around them and did edge refine and smoothed and feathered it so they would look better. I got a softball bat and I cut it out and put it in the corner and I put the opacity down to 39%. I got sunflower seeds and I cut them out and I put them in the other corner like they were falling. The opacity is down to 67%. Then I put in the text Laporte Softball.  I put the board on; it is about 9 pixels thick. I did that by going to edit, stroke, and that was it. Ha-ha =). Then I put in the pictures. I started with Tammy and I. I cut it out weird cause I didn’t want it to look like all the others. I copied the layer (ctrl j). Then I added a drop shadow. All I did was go to the FX at the bottom and picked what I wanted. Then I changed the blending mode to multiply. I put the picture of Kim and I up. I decided to try to round the edge by erasing the corners. Then I did an inner shadow of the color purple. Then I changed the color of her glass to a darker brown. Then I put the one of Leah and I up last because I didn’t know were I want to put it. So I just kept it there. I went up to edit and I went to transform. I clicked on scale and sized the picture. I went to the same place and clicked on screw and I angled it. I went on internet to get a picture of a girl with a softball. I cut out around it and I saved it as a brush (edit, define brush preset). Lastly, I went to filter clicked on texture and I picked textureize. And that is what I did. I really like how this one looks compared to the friend one. I think it was a great turn out. =)  

The first thing that I did was got a blank white background. I started with the wording. I did happy valentines from Kloehn family, but it looked to empty so I but a black square behind it. Then I did the 2011 on the sides. I did Sydney and Mikaela on bottom and Lori and Ernie on top. I put drop shadows on all of them because I like the way it looked. Then I got a heart and I made it a stamp. I went to edit and went to define brush preset. Then I put the hearts all over the page. Then I got two of the best pictures of Mikky. I color created the one on the bottom and I did an inner shadow. I brought the saturation down on it too. I like the color of the one on top. The one on the bottom I put a drop shadow. Then I got a picture of me and I cut it out in a square. I didn’t do any to it. The last picture of me was really hard to do. I had to pictures with a half heart. I cut me out of one pasted it on the other and I had to go to filter liquefy and then I made the heart in the hands better. I tried to make the coloring better, but you can’t really tell. After that I just rounded the edges with the eraser. Then I did the LOVE. I got it off of the internet and then I changed the opacity to 61 and then I put another one on top. That is what I ended up doing. I really hate how it looks it is not what I wanted it to look like, but it will work.

CREATION OF CHOICE

Well goodmorning America... today is the 12th of January, 2011. This blog of my choice and I choose to do one about my friends. I know that I can't fit all my friends on it, but I did the ones that I hang out with in school the most. What I did is I put the one of Edie and I. What I did to that one is I cut out us and I did refine edge. I feathered and smoothed it. Then I put it in the coner and never moved it. Then I did the one of Renny, Leah, and I. I used the burn tool to darken some spots. When I cut us out, I did the refine edge and I used the feather and the smoother. I would always have to resize the images (ctrl, alt, i). Then I did the one of Kelli and I. I cut it out did the refine edge. I moved that one constintly. Then I did the FRIENDS text. Then I went on the enternet and I pick out seven different colors and texture. I saved them as picture then I coped and pasted them on the picture above. I went to layer, create clipping mask, and click. I would have to move them around until the fit. Then I put the phrase. I left it white so that it would really pop out! Then i got the FOREVER  off the internet. I coped (ctrl c) and pasted (ctrl v). Then I put the heart on the forever. That is my one stamp. Then the best friends you couldn't read it, so, I cut our best friend and put it over. I am not a big fan of this one. I don't like the heart and the color of it and with out it looks empty.

Personalized Card

I designed this card for one of my best friends that is have her baby in January. The first thing I did was wrote down what they want to call her and I turn that vertical. I got swirly yellow and pink picture and I pasted it to my layer. I went to layer and I went to create cliping mask. I did that for both of the text. Then, I did the date she will be born and that one was moved every which way. I put a pink flower behind the date. Then, I got a baby, but I didn 't like how that baby worked out and I deleted it. So, then I guess I could work on something else until I figured out what baby I wanted to use. So, I worked on the stork, that one was placed in all the corners and I like it there best, so, I kept it. Then, I got the footprints I put two different colors on it. I painted it in the middle, all I did was move it up a little. Then, I went to google translator and I got mother and father in Japanesse. I stuck those in the corners of the picture cause I thought it would be better there than in the middle. One of the last things I did was get the baby I loved the one on the moon so, I saved it in my photos, I copy and pasted it, and moved it to the bottem of the page. Lastly, I got the fishing line and hook and I transformed it to go the way I wanted it to and I erased the hook across the moon. I made the line a little bit longer... you can see that. Other, than that I used most of them as a custom brush. I went to edit and down to define brush preset. They represent the baby, because she is having a little girl. That is why most of the thing are pink.

Choice #1

This picture was taken on November 1st, 2010. The flash was off and my camera mode was on auto. This picture was taken at Bensons in the upper stairway.

 I fixed this photo up in photo shop.

        I made a background copy and I took the dodge tool and brightened it.

that is all I did with it... I think that it looks really good, I like how bright it is.

I did try to crop it, but I didn't like how it took out so much of the sun. I forgot about curves and level so, I didn't try anything else.

Architecture

I was in Los Vegas when I took this picture. It was around February 2nd 2009. I know that my camera was on auto and the flash was on.

What I changed in this photo was I cropped it to take out the unneed stuff. then I clone stamp the sign from the bottem and got rid of that. I took the burn tool and lightened up the statue. Than the last thing I did was color balance. I did try a other thing like levels, but I didn't like how it looked. I think that the photo looks better because the statue is brighter and that was the one thing that I wanted to do.
